Eclipse 26 May 2021: Energies and Patterns in History

Lunar Eclipse Saros 121, initiated its 1,460.44 years cycle on 6 October 1047 and this year marking its 55th. return brings along once again its eclosion energies, which break the mould, detach from the framework and enter another level. Eclosion according to its synonyms is also appearance, sprout, start, beginning, revelation, manifestation, birth, emergence.

The dictionary defines eclosion in biology as the action of hatching out, in medicine the action of the ovary opening to let the ovule out and, as sprout, manifestation or sudden appearance of a cultural movement or another phenomena be it psychological, historical, etc. About the action of hatching, it is said about the bud of a flower when petals separate, said of a chrysalis or an egg passing to have the shell broken to allow the exit or birth of the animal. And, take note we are in the last ‘category’.

The Eclipse of Eclosions has been returning every 18 years for the last 974 years and will keep doing it the next 89 years; it already returned 54 times, its return on year 2021 is the 55th. and still has 27 more.

For additional general data on the eclipse and years of its return, specially for those that want to remember how they influenced at the personal level, see Eclipses May and June 2021. For those just arriving, see Energies from Eclipses.

In year 1047, when energies from Lunar Eclipse 121, the Eclipse of Eclosions initiate, it’s possible to find its patterns in history through broken moulds in events surrounding the papacy, which are the most accesible among those registered.

It was that year, 1047, that Pope Benedict IX takes up the pontifical post for a third mandate; the first one from 1032 to 1044, and, the second one in year 1045 in which he resigned selling the chair to get married.

It’s easy to get mixed up on data on Benedict IX and loose the track of the timeline or reality that Lunar Eclipse 121 installs, which go beyond the person around whom events evolve. Under the energies of the eclosions in November 1047, Benedict IX chases a third mandate, attacking Rome and finding little resistance due to tiredness in ecclesiastical and citizens circles of bloody confrontations following disputes among noble families for the papal chair.

Eleven months before that, the Sutri Council established that Papacy was part of imperial decisions, including the right to nominate popes. It was at that council that Emperor Henry III not only deposes Benedict IX, but also the two other popes who proclaimed to be so, Silvester III and Gregory VI, ending the Catholic Church schism, and deciding to appoint as pope Clement II, who in turn would name Emperor Henry III Emperor of the Holy Empire.

However, Benedict I broke the imperial mould attacking Rome a year after. His papacy would not go longer than July 1048, when the Pontificate was once again under imperial decisions. Another way of viewing these eclosion patterns is how Emperor Henry III himself broke the shell of papacy in the hands of Roman families that for years decided the destiny of the papal chair, and although the Council of Sutri took place a year before, in order to carry out the imperial  decisions it took longer to hatch the shell.

In 1624, the 33rd. return of this eclipse, another personality took over the stage. It’s Armand Jean du Plessis, better known as Cardinal Richelieu, who that year was appointed as Prime Minister of King Louis XIII of France.

Richelieu’s appointment was an eclosion against ruling powers of the nobility. Now the stage had changed and nobility factions disputing power were the target, and specially the House of Austria or Habsburg, ruling Spain and the Holy Roman Germanic Empire. Richelieu did better than Benedict IX, he remained in power the next 18 years establishing his reforms and he left with the following return of the Eclipse of Eclosions in 1642, the year he dies.

The reason for jumping from initial year 1047 to year 1624 is that in this year another eclipse initiates, which also returns in 2021, the Eclipse of Replicas, and at the same time to emphasize that Richelieu is part of eclosions and not replicas, as we will see in another post.

If year 1047 or 1624 almost make no sound in our short memory, the Eclipse of Eclosions’ last returns possibly sound more.

The 52nd. return of the eclipse in year 1967 finds eclosion patterns in the War of Six Days, which unleashed as a reaction from Israel to the movement of troops in Egypt and blocking of the Strait of Tiran to Israeli ships, understanding these actions as cause for war or the right to it.

The 53rd return of this eclipse in year 1985, once again surrounding another personality, although in fact chasing patterns of eclosions in history, they are found in the Soviet Union. That year, Michail Gorbachev assumes as Chief of State and the shell of the established order is broken introducing new reforms, such as the one known as “perestroika” (restructuring) and other that later would take into another breakdown, that of the Soviet Union.

The 54th. return of the Eclipse of Eclosions in year 2003, in March, is when the United States and the United Kingdom start the bombardmet of Irak.

And, while the energies of the Eclipse of Eclosions 55th. return in this 2021 make up the stage of reality, it’s already possible to recognize patterns in developing events such as Israel and Palestine. And, others which certainly each one will find from each latitude and at different levels, specifically those at the personal one.
