…Dawn comes with the scent of bread among the flowers for the ancestors… that anxiety takes me back to a little stool waiting for the t’antawawas (aymara: baby bread) to come out of the oven: horse, ladder, wawa… anxious to see that transformation from dough into ‘someone’ or ‘something’, years later came the ‘little masks’ stirring up vests and emotions for that magic moment:

…that scent of bread mixed with flowers for the ancestors impregnates… there flowers are natural and have roots, so are candles lit up to honour the presence that will never be absent in spite of a narrow materiality that names them as ‘deceased’…

…there my anxieties meet with the magic of ritual…
..there cultural expressions spin daily life with the forgotten history of the people…
…there dead alive and alive dead make life together…
…there worlds intertwine with unexistent bridges…

…rituals that precede ancestrally All Saint’s and All Soul’s: Todos Santos, una visita de los “sullka dioses” | El significado de la mesa de Todos Santos | Todos Santos ni católica ni indígena

…that expand within the Offer ‘to be with the other side’ , that reach out to healing to overcome sorrow and sadness, that behind the ritual unleashes magic, that reiterates eagerly the crossing among worlds… and I found it in “Las Almas Nuevas del Mundo Callawaya” (1) with the magic of Charazani…

…that takes skulls away from urban legends and as ‘ñatitas’ integrate life among worlds into home’s daily life:  Las ñatitas… calaveras en fiesta!!! (The ñatitas… skulls in party!!!) with photos that speak without words…

…those anxieties of t’antawawas, skulls and rituals transport me into dimensions where life flows escaping from the illusory life that comes through the eyes…

…and accelerating heartbeats sing to me other anxieties… where Nature does not have fixed dates on claendars and her transformations bewitch life… of those anxieties in a little while…
