¡Y pronto en todo el Hemisferio Sur!
¡Y que así sea también en el Hemisferio Norte para su Solsticio de Invierno!
El día de ayer, el gobierno boliviano emitió un decreto declarando al Solsticio de Invierno como Feriado Nacional
, que personalmente considero un gran giro: ¡Todo un TRASTOQUE en TIEMPOS DE TRASTOQUE!
Aquí van tan sólo 9 motivos para celebrar el Solsticio de Invierno como feriado:
1. Nos devuelve a nuestros ciclos naturales, luego de aplicar durante mucho tiempo en el Hemisferio Sur el calendario solar del Hemisferio Norte.
2. Visibiliza nuestro hemisferio… como Mario Benedetti diría: ¡El Sur también existe!
3. Volvemos a mirar hacia nuestro Norte que es el Sur
4. Sincroniza la cotidianeidad al momento solar del Renacimiento
5. Reconoce la estrecha relación entre las manifestaciones culturales de los pueblos y el orden cósmico
6. Reproduce el orden cósmico siguiendo leyes naturales
7. Un paso más para volver a ser Naturaleza
8. Reivindica la cientificidad ancestral de los pueblos, despojándolos de interpretaciones denigrantes como ‘adoración al Sol’
9. Reconoce la diversidad de los pueblos un ‘después de la homogeneidad global silenciadora… redibujando la historia y ratificando que otro mundo es posible siendo nosotros mismos e impulsa al mundo occidental a conocer las otras historias obviadas por donde la vida está fluyendo siempre.

And so it be also for the Northern Hemisphere!
Yesterday the Bolivian government decreted Winter Solstice as National Holiday , which personally I consider a great turn: A whole SHIFT in SHIFTING TIMES!
Here just nine reasons to celebrate Winter Solstice as holiday:
1. It takes us back to our natural cycles, after applying for a very long time in the Southern Hemisphere the solar calendar for the Northern Hemisphere
2. Visibilizes our hemisphere… like Mario Benedetti would say: The South exists too!
3. We look once again to our North, which is the South
4. Sincronizes daily life to solar moment: Rebirth
6. Reproduces as cultural manifestation the cosmic order following natural laws
7. One more step to be Nature again
8. Vindicates the scientific ancestry of the people (pueblos), stripping them from degrading interpretations like ‘Sun worship’
9. Recognizes the diversity of the people (pueblos) an ‘after’ of the silencing global homogeneity… redrawing history and ratifying that another world is possible being ourselves and driving the western world to know other avoided histories through which life is always flowing.
